The gardens are open from Easter to late September.  There is a variety of environments within the grounds.  The famous award winning walled floral garden is a delight of colour, shape and scent throughout the year.  Recently added are walks through the woods to the pond with the Monk's Well and the newly installed bridge, also a flight of steps will bring you back up to the Archery Lawn.  The wooded area to the North of the Archery Lawn now hosts a stumpery and grass walk. The garden is a haven for wildlife, birds and insects which are abundant with some species recently spotted for the first time in the British Isles.
